About Private Vocal Lessons
Private vocal instruction offers students an opportunity to work towards healthy, efficient singing and fulfilling music making. Healthy vocal habits, formed by shedding excess manipulation and tension, allow students to sing a wide variety of repertoire well while minimizing fatigue and vocal strain.
Building upon your prior vocal instruction, our instructors will help you grow towards freer, more released sound production based in physiology and accurate body mapping. In addition to vocal technique, our teachers work with students on character development, lyric diction, building repertoire and audition preparation.
Please note: private vocal students must be at least 12 years old.
About Private Piano Lessons
You know that saying, "It's never too late to learn?" Well, with piano, it's true! Piano lessons are a worthwhile investment at any age, and there is a growing body of scientific research that shows learning an instrument can decrease anxiety, alleviate depression and fatigue, increase memory and verbal communication, and build cognition. Private piano classes focus on building healthy posture, note-reading, finger agility, steady counting and memorization. Students of all ages and ability levels are welcome!
